Belgium led 1-0 at the Stade de France until the 77th minute. Then Zidane's subs took over. Doué, Cherki, and two from Olise made it 4-1. Lukébakio's first-half goal meant nothing.

That Belgium back line got bullied off the ball for thirteen straight minutes. Soft. You don't hold a lead by backing off. Zidane's changes worked because his players actually ran at defenders. Simple stuff.

France are now three clear in Group A1. Next up is the away trip. If anyone prices Belgium as live underdogs after this, leave it alone. They showed exactly what happens when you sit deep.
