⏱️ The first ten minutes are a test, not a trap.
I watch the opening phase to confirm what I saw on the team sheet. If the full-back is high and the winger stays wide, that space behind is still there. If the striker is isolated and the midfield sits deep, the passing lane to him has already disappeared.
Sometimes the pre-match read holds. Sometimes it doesn't. The first ten minutes expose a bad assumption faster than any stat. Adjust your view, not your stake. A no-bet after ten minutes is better than a forced bet before kick-off.
Confirm the read before you act. The match always tells you something new.
Question: Have you ever changed your selection after watching the first ten minutes?
