Throw-ins tell a story 🧩

Most people wait for a corner or a big chance. I watch the first few throw-ins. If one team keeps taking them backwards because every short option is covered, they are struggling to move the ball.

When that happens three or four times, look at who is hiding from the pass. A midfielder staying behind an opponent instead of showing for the ball forces another long pass. That often gives possession straight back.

You do not need to rush into a bet after one sequence. Give it a few minutes. If the same picture keeps appearing, then you have something worth considering. Keep your unit size steady, even if the pattern looks clear.

Small patterns repeated are worth more than one flashy attack.

Question: What is the first small detail you notice before placing a live bet?

  • I'm not so sure about that, how do you even have the time to watch all games to decide which one is worth analyzing?

    • I do not. I usually watch the first 10 to 15 minutes of a few matches, then stay with the one where the same picture keeps repeating. If a full-back has no passing lane two or three times in a row, that game has earned a closer look.
